Complete your Initial Application in Certemy
After completing the Core and Supplemental training for your chosen Peer Specialist certification, you will need to complete an initial application with TCB. Once this application is approved, TCB will add a new application to your Certemy account called “RSPS Full” or “MHPS Full”, depending on the certification you are pursuing.
Please watch the following video on how to create your account:

Add your Peer Specialist Supervisor to Certemy
Once you have access to your “Full” application, you will need to add the Peer Specialist Supervisor who will be signing off on your work experience hours. This can be done by following the instructions within your certemy application.

1. Login to your Certemy account. You should see a box labeled “MHPS or RSPS Full [ Current Phase: Full Certification Requirements].”
2. You will see a panel on the right side that you will need to click on the step that says, “work experience.”
3. By clicking it should open a window titled “work experience” in bold letters. It has all the information on supervision of your hours. The window has a bunch of fields, but you won’t be able to access them.
4. Please scroll down to the bottom of the window and hit the button that says, “invite supervisor”.
5. Scroll back to the top of the window and you will see three (3) fields you are allowed to fill out. Here you will put your Peer Specialist Supervisor’s (PSS) first and last name. There is also a box to enter their email address. Please make sure you have the correct email address and enter in the appropriate box.
6. Once you complete these fields you can scroll back to the bottom and hit “send invitation” button.
7. Certemy will send an email to your PSS letting them know you have requested them to supervise your hours.
8. Your PSS will input your hours as you go into your Certemy account. You should be meeting with them once a week for an hour. To ensure your hours are being tracked we suggest your PSS enter your hours each week after you meet. When your hours are completed, your PSS will give you a letter of recommendation to upload/submit as your last step of the certification process.
