Core & MHPS/RSPS Supplemental Training Application

To enroll in this training you must have personal lived mental health experience and be willing to appropriately share the challenges you have faced with recovery.

Do you have personal lived experience and are willing to share your personal lived experience?(Required)

*Personal lived experience is a requirement to take each training. Each experience group has knowledge and expertise to bring to a discussion, just from different angles. Lived experience ("I have a mental health experience or substance use in my life) and professional experience ("I have a degree in Psychology, but don't have a mental health condition") or theoretical knowledge ("I'm a researcher working on mental health conditions"). *Peer ethics requires peer specialists to "openly share their recovery stories, and will likewise be able to identify and describe the supports that promote their recovery."

1. Have personal lived experience with mental health challenges
2. Be willing to appropriately share your experiences
3. Complete Peer Orientation and Self-assessment. You can find the link to the required self-assessment and orientation here.
